1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Reef Trio handles information when you use Reef Escape (the Game). The Game is designed to work without an account and without sending your gameplay data to Reef Trio.

The Game includes Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to request, store, and update advertising privacy choices. Reef Trio does not operate an account system, analytics service, social-login service, or cloud-save service for the Game.

2. Information stored locally on your device

The Game stores the following information only in its private app storage so that gameplay and settings continue between sessions:

Level progress, stars, scores, coins, boosters, achievements, and saved puzzle attempts.
Preferences such as language, music, sound effects, vibration, reduced motion, and high contrast.
Local review-prompt counters and timing safeguards used to avoid excessive Google Play review requests.
If you enable reminders, your reminder choice, localized reminder text, scheduled hours, relevant level number, and local delivery timestamps and counters.

3. Notifications and Android permissions

Progress reminders are optional and are off by default. If you enable them, the Game asks Android for notification permission where required. Android processes and delivers the reminders locally; Reef Trio does not receive the reminder data.

The Game uses the Android POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission to show opted-in reminders and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to restore those local schedules after a restart or app update. The Android build also declares VIBRATE for optional haptic feedback and INTERNET for Google Play, advertising, consent, and review functionality. The Game does not connect to a Reef Trio server or upload locally stored gameplay or settings data. The Game does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, exact-alarm, or full-screen-intent permission. Google Mobile Ads may access the Android advertising ID when it is available; you can reset or delete that ID through Android settings. You can disable reminders in the Game or in Android settings at any time.

4. Google services and advertising

The Game uses Google AdMob to display banner, native, interstitial, rewarded, rewarded-interstitial, and app-open advertisements. According to Google's disclosure for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK automatically collects and shares IP address, user product interactions such as app launches, taps, and video views, diagnostic information such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. An IP address may be used to estimate a device's approximate location.

Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Where required, UMP presents advertising privacy choices before ads are requested. Depending on your region and choices, Google may show personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Limited or non-personalized ads can still require data for contextual delivery, frequency controls, reporting, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. You can review or change available advertising privacy choices from the Game's settings and can manage the advertising ID and ad-personalization controls in Android or your Google Account.

The Game can open its Google Play listing and can ask the Google Play Store to display Google's in-app review flow after meaningful gameplay milestones. Any rating or review that you choose to submit is entered into and processed by Google Play, not by the Game. Google may process account, device, app, rating, and review information under Google's own terms and privacy policy. A submitted review may be public, or may be visible to the developer when submitted through a closed testing track.

Reef Trio does not receive your Google account credentials and the Game does not learn whether you submitted a rating or review. You can manage or delete submitted reviews through your Google Play or Google Account controls. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Data sharing and sale

Reef Trio does not transmit locally stored gameplay or settings data to its servers and does not sell personal information. Advertising and consent data described in Section 4 is transmitted directly to and processed or shared by Google through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and UMP. Google Play may also process information required to distribute, secure, update, and review the Game under Google's own policies.

6. Retention and deletion

Local gameplay and settings data remains on your device until it is replaced during normal use, reset, cleared through Android app settings, or removed when you uninstall the Game. The in-game Reset Progress control removes level progress, coins, boosters, achievements, and saved puzzle attempts, but keeps your preferences and reminder/review safeguards. To remove all data stored by the Game, clear the Game's storage in Android settings or uninstall it.

Reef Trio cannot retrieve or delete this local data remotely because Reef Trio does not receive it. Advertising, consent, and Google Play information processed by Google is subject to Google's retention and deletion controls. You can reset or delete the Android advertising ID, manage Google ad-personalization controls, and use any UMP privacy-options entry shown in the Game. You may also contact Reef Trio using the email below for privacy requests.

7. Security

The Game limits its locally stored data to what is needed for gameplay and preferences. It uses Android private app storage, checksummed save data, atomic file replacement, and a local recovery copy to reduce corruption and unintended access. Google states that Google Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so you should also protect access to your device.

8. Children's privacy

The Game does not ask users to create an account or enter their name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or voice. Google Mobile Ads may nevertheless process the advertising data described in Section 4. Advertising requests and consent treatment must be configured consistently with the age groups selected for the Game in Google Play and with applicable child-privacy and Google Play Families requirements. A parent or guardian may contact Reef Trio using the email below with a privacy question or request.

9. Changes to this policy

Reef Trio may update this policy when the Game's features, SDKs, permissions, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will show a new effective date and will be published at the privacy-policy URL used on Google Play. Material changes will also be reflected in the policy available inside the Game.
